Practical Nurse

We are VAKE, an organization focused on building a caring welfare area together with residents. We are looking for a practical nurse for a temporary position at Raikukuja communal housing. The unit provides daily support, medication administration, and activity guidance to residents who live independently in their own apartments but need help. The Raikukuja unit is a 27-bed facility with a transition-to-home component; clients come from hospital assessment and rehabilitation units or directly from home. We welcome new graduates and experienced nurses, and will start interviews during the application period and fill the position as soon as a suitable candidate is found. We value cooperation and communication skills, ability to adapt to changing situations, and a proactive approach. Valid medical license, RA I knowledge and experience with mental health and substance abuse rehabilitation are appreciated. The residents live in their own apartments and are elderly, disabled, or chronically ill. The unit is in Martinlaakso, Vantaa. Our team includes practical nurses, a nurse, a physiotherapist, an assistant head nurse, and service coordinators. We offer a lunch allowance and a 400-euro Epassi benefit for exercise, culture, wellbeing or commuting, plus statutory occupational health services.
