Heavy Equipment Mechanic

Heavy equipment mechanic / repairer – do you enjoy getting machines back in working order? We are looking for a heavy equipment mechanic / repairer for our client. You are confident using tools and can restore even broken machines and their parts to working condition. The work focuses especially on repairing and refurbishing earthmoving machinery and other heavy equipment. You will carry out varied practical work where the results of your work are clearly visible. We are looking for someone who is not put off by dirty work, can adapt and find solutions even when there is no ready-made instruction for everything. What does the work involve? Repair and refurbishment of earthmoving machinery and other heavy equipment Repairing machine components and replacing them when necessary Repairing, modifying and reinforcing metal parts Welding and refurbishing different metal structures Restoring damaged parts to working condition Other heavy equipment maintenance and repair tasks according to your skills This is hands-on work where versatile skills, problem-solving ability and initiative are useful. What kind of person are we looking for? Ideally, you have experience repairing heavy equipment, work machines or metal structures. You could be a heavy equipment mechanic, machinery repairer or metal industry professional with repair skills. We expect you to have: Practical experience repairing machinery or metal structures Welding skills and readiness to carry out repair welding The ability to work out how to get a broken part working again An independent and careful approach to work A desire to produce quality work and take responsibility for your own tasks Experience with earthmoving machinery, work machines, hydraulics and heavy equipment is an advantage. You do not need to know everything in advance if your practical skills and attitude are right. What do we offer?
