Danske Bank is seeking an experienced, goal-oriented and financially minded communications professional to strengthen our corporate customer business communications in Finland. You will take full responsibility for the external and internal communications of Danske Bank Finland’s Business Customers unit, telling our corporate customers’ stories in a compelling way, supporting business goals with impactful communications, and enhancing the visibility and reputation of the company’s corporate customer operations in Finland. Your work aligns with the Forward ’28 strategy and you are motivated by achieving measurable results. You will work closely with the leadership of Danske Bank Finland’s corporate customer business and report to the Head of Communications in Finland. You will also be part of Danske Bank’s international network of communications and marketing professionals and of Danske Bank Finland’s about 10-person communications team. Our team is based in our Helsinki headquarters in Pasila. Responsibilities include: - Full ownership of external and internal communications for Danske Bank Finland’s Business Customers unit in line with Forward ’28 - Implementing and developing communications strategies and plans, and actively monitoring results - Planning and executing media relations and identifying timely topics together with business experts - Supporting leadership and experts of the business customer units in interviews, media appearances and other public appearances - Providing statutory communications to corporate customers - Close collaboration with Danske Bank’s experts in Finland and internationally What we hope you have: - Suitable university degree in communications or marketing and at least five years of experience in communications roles - Experience in corporate client business and crisis/incident communications - Networks with Finnish media and journalists and ability to draft press releases on current topics and based on various materials - Independent working style and ability to manage multiple projects concurrently - Willingness to work toward common goals and use new technologies as a normal part of your work while remaining curious about new methods and tools - Excellent Finnish and English skills in writing and speaking What we offer: - A varied role with opportunities to grow alongside capable colleagues, deepening strategic communications expertise and leveraging presentation skills.
