Responsibilities
- Plan and execute clients' advocacy projects, independently or in small teams
- Continuously learn about clients' business specifics and the legal landscape
- Follow EU legislative preparatory work and analyze legal texts
- Communicate and network with EU institutions' representatives and Brussels stakeholders
- Report to client companies and provide strategic advice on EU legislation-derived business impacts
Requirements
- 0.5–2 years of relevant experience in legislative work, consultancy, politics, EU affairs or advocacy
- A suitable university degree
- Familiarity with EU institutions and willingness to understand interdependencies between policy and business
- Ability to apply analytical thinking, creative problem solving and independent work
- Resilience, social intelligence and willingness to adapt to changing situations
- Eagerness to delve into extensive and sometimes technical materials
- Proficiency in Finnish and English
