Early Childhood Education Teacher

We are seeking an early childhood education teacher for Kivistön day care in Vantaa. The day care operates four groups for children aged 1–5 years and has a large forest yard. The recently renovated, bright indoor spaces enable versatile activities, and we also make use of the adjacent Maitorppa day care’s hall for gym activities and nearby playgrounds and forest areas. We are a professional, inclusive and dynamic work community. You will participate in developing early childhood education and your own work; trialing and collaboration are characteristic of our culture. In a multidisciplinary team you will receive support for your work from colleagues, broad specialists, developers and leaders. The unit structures support the leadership of groups and pedagogical practice at the unit level. We participate in the ProVaka operating model, which is based on guiding behavior with positive reinforcement. Adults act as role models for children, and the model supports an inclusive environment and consistent guidance practices that value social skills.
