The Nappulavastaava leads the development and management of the junior age groups (including Minit program and 5v5 age groups) at Valtti 1946. This role is not just coaching; it is a development and leadership position that includes supporting coaches, developing programs, recruiting players, and building partnerships with kindergartens and schools to ensure every child has an engaging first touch with football. Key responsibilities include overseeing player development across the start-up age groups, maintaining a high-quality, safe, and inspiring environment, and ensuring smooth transitions between age groups. The role also involves guiding and mentoring coaches, monitoring training sessions, and ensuring alignment with Valtti 1946’s coaching philosophy across all initiating age groups. You will contribute to the club’s growth by coordinating recruitment of new players, expanding collaborations with local kindergartens and schools, participating in recruitment events, tournaments, and club events, and representing the club at various functions. You will participate in strategic development as part of Strategy 2026–2030, and take on other related duties. We are looking for a passionate person who loves working with children and football, wants to develop players and coaches, demonstrates initiative and organizational skills, communicates effectively, and aligns with Valtti 1946’s values and long-term club development. Requirements include fluency in Finnish, ability to work independently and as part of a team, experience with children, and a clean criminal record suitable for work with children. Additional advantages include experience in football or sports, experience in early childhood education or primary school settings, UEFA coaching education, experience in club operations or coach development, and proficiency in other languages.
