Early Childhood Education Teacher

We are hiring an Early Childhood Education Teacher for Havukallion Daycare, part of Vantaa City’s Early Childhood Education and Learning division. The daycare is located in a forested residential area with good transport links, and emphasizes nature-based learning, multicultural perspectives, and child participation. The role involves working with five age-grouped classrooms, contributing to an updated learning environment, and collaborating with other staff to create engaging and supportive pedagogical practices. We value sensitive, warm-hearted interaction with children, teamwork, flexibility, development-mindedness, and high standards of Finnish language proficiency. The position starts on 1 September 2026 and is permanent. The salary is 3129.71–3234 EUR per month, with additional allowances for certain qualifications and a possible experience-based supplement. A six-month probation applies. The job is full-time, permanent, with a 38 h 15 min weekly schedule.
