Solita Akatemia starts with about a month-long training module. After that you move to a client project as part of a project team, where learning and professional development continue through practical work. We hire you on a permanent basis from day one, and the training module is paid working time. The training builds on your existing competence in data and you are expected to have hands-on experience in working with data and a desire to deepen your skills. Your work as a data engineer on a client project will involve building ELT processes, data models, and integrations into cloud environments, ensuring their operation and quality. Early in your career the emphasis is on technical work, while consulting responsibilities grow with experience: you learn to understand the client’s business, identify needs and participate in decisions about what and how to build. Consulting capability develops with experience. We value the interest in understanding the client’s business and how the data flows. Command line and technical tools are a natural part of a data engineer’s day-to-day. You’ll be involved in log exploration, setting up environments, troubleshooting, and ensuring solutions work. The AI tools are quickly changing data engineer work. A larger part of code can be generated by AI, shifting the emphasis to understanding the bigger picture and its impact. The role offers a full-time permanent contract, a competitive salary and extensive employee benefits. Salary for this role in this opening is between 3500 and 4500 euros per month, paid from the start of the academy period.
