Job Description

This position requires native level Japanese fluency (speaking, writing, reading). [Department/Title] Total Rewards Delivery Team (Area related to evaluation and treatment systems such as compensation and benefits) Consultant / Analyst [Overview] This position is responsible for data services and consulting work related to the field of compensation and benefits. You will play a role in supporting decision-making in the HR field through compensation data analysis and system design support for client companies. Even those without HR experience can grow as a specialist in the rewards field. The reporting line is to an overseas base, and communication in English occurs on a daily basis (several team members are also based in Japan). [Job Duties] While mainly handling work centered on compensation database services, you will also be involved in consulting projects. 1. Work related to compensation database services - Collect and analyze compensation data of client companies and provide comparisons and suggestions with the market. - Conduct job analysis and job evaluation through discussions with customers. - Support customer data preparation for compensation data collection. - Confirm, scrutinize, and correct submitted data. - Market comparison analysis of compensation and benefits and reporting/explanation to customers. - Support customer representatives, such as explaining Japanese HR trends to overseas headquarters representatives (in English). - Communication with customers regarding data collection, updates, and progress management. 2. Promotion of new services - Support the introduction and utilization of new products and services. - Understand the content of new services and explain them internally and externally (creating materials, demos, etc.). - Collect feedback from customers and share it with the global team. 3. Consulting work related to compensation and evaluation systems - Support the design and improvement of customers' HR systems. - Consulting proposals and delivery related to compensation and treatment systems. - Compensation competitiveness analysis, wage system design, and cost simulation. - Database construction for new industries and job types. 4. Regional projects - Participate as a member in regional/global projects related to the main area of responsibility. [Position Characteristics] - Ability to deepen expertise in the HR field, such as compensation and evaluation systems. - An environment where English is utilized through collaboration with global teams. - Ability to be involved in consulting work while based on data services. [Application Qualifications] <Required Experience, Skills> Language Skills: - English: Business level or higher (Reading, Writing, Conversation / Guideline: TOEIC 800 or more) - Japanese: Native level - Experience in data processing and analysis using Excel, etc. - Professional experience (employment as a full-time employee) of 2 years or more - Strong desire to build a career in the field of HR and organizational consulting - Ability to communicate smoothly with internal and external parties <Desirable Experience, Skills> - Experience in HR (compensation, systems, labor relations, human resource development, etc.) - Experience in a consulting firm or research work - Experience in introducing HR management systems <Ideal Candidate> - Person who can proceed with work while emphasizing accuracy - Person who can proceed with multiple tasks in parallel - Person who is interested in people and organizations and finds fulfillment in supporting clients - Person who can actively learn new knowledge and areas
