As a psychologist, your duties include conducting psychological assessments and providing therapeutic work with patients and their families. At the Tyks Adolescent Psychiatry in the eating disorder unit, we treat patients over 13 years of age with no upper age limit. Eating disorders manifest as disorders in relation to food, weight and body image in a way that threatens the patient’s health or functioning. Your work as a psychologist will consist of psychological examinations and therapeutic work with patients and their families. The job offers an opportunity to delve into demanding and meaningful specialized inpatient care work as part of a multidisciplinary team. Prior experience in specialized healthcare and/or with eating disorders is considered a merit. The position requires good oral and written Finnish and satisfactory oral and written Swedish.
