Daycare Assistant

Engel Daycare is a private daycare founded in 1993 and located in southern Helsinki. It consists of four small, cozy daycares close to each other: Engel Viiskulma, Engel Huvila, Engel Seppä and Engel Albert. Our daycares nurture a warm, communal and encouraging atmosphere with a professional and ambitious workforce. We are currently seeking a Daycare Assistant for Engel Seppä. As a daycare assistant you will be responsible for housekeeping, heating lunch, preparing snacks, and other kitchen duties. The role may also involve working with children as a group as a nursery nurse as needed. The daycare is small, cozy and warm. The position requires good Finnish language skills and a hygiene card. The selected applicant must have a preschool childcare worker qualification and fluent Finnish. The selected person must present a valid criminal record extract for working with children before signing the employment contract (Act on Background Check of Persons Working with Children 504/2002). The position is temporary for the period 1.9.-18.12.2026. Working hours are 20h per week/4h per day. Visit our website at www.pkengel.fi.
