About the role

The Inari municipality is seeking an eager professional to join the Economic and Development Services. The Procurement and Project Coordinator will monitor various funding and procurement channels, prepare grant applications that enhance the municipality’s vitality, manage project administration, reporting and finances, and prepare and procure purchases. The role also includes event organization and communications. The position may be tailored based on the selected candidate’s education and expertise. Start as soon as possible, by agreement. A suitable higher education degree, sufficient familiarity with development project activities, and good spoken and written English are required. The job requires an independent, developing and networked work approach, strong communication and collaboration skills, and a driving licence. Procurement expertise is valued. Terms follow the municipal collective agreement (KVTES). The base salary is 3782.72 €/month, plus a 3% Inari allowance and possible KVTES‑based seniority allowance. A 6-month probation period applies and the selected must submit a medical certificate within 30 days of the decision.
