We are looking for skilled CNC machinists in Ikaalinen. The role suits those who feel at home in a machine shop environment and have a solid grasp of CNC machining. Work is done on modern machinery and includes a variety of turning, milling and grinding tasks depending on competence. The job currently runs on two shifts, with willingness to move to three shifts in the future. The successful candidate will enjoy problem solving, take ownership of their work, and want to develop further in the field of machining. Key duties include CNC turning for small to single-piece batches, operating different machines (lathes, milling centers, grinding equipment as expertise allows), creating setups and programs with fine-tuning, ensuring quality using measurement instruments, and a lean, improvement-driven approach to daily work. Requirements include experience in CNC machining, a proactive problem-solving attitude, ability to work as part of a team and to take on different machines as needed, willingness to develop skills and learn more, readiness for two-shift work with potential move to three shifts in the future.
