Preschool Substitute Staffing

We are looking for reliable substitutes for Tuusula municipality's early childhood education services, available for shift work. The service aims to ensure a safe everyday life for children also in staff shortages. We are primarily interested in people with qualification in the field or studies in progress. Also those without formal qualification may be suitable. Applicants submit a application and CV. Those who have applied are invited to a group interview. Applications are processed about twice a month and group interviews are arranged twice a month as needed. Applications submitted in May, June and July are processed in August. Those accepted into the substitute service must present a criminal record extract from Finnish police (Rikosrekisteriote). A police extract ordered from the National Police Board is acceptable if you do not have a valid extract (older than 6 months). The staff working with under-6s must provide proof regarding lung tuberculosis in accordance with infectious diseases act § 55. The substitute service works with an electronic calendar to receive work offers for selected units on available days and times. Most substitutes are short 1–3 day placements. Occasional placements can extend to weeks or months. Salary: for placements under 13 days, paid according to the municipality salary table plus holiday pay.
