MIG/MAG Welder – Joutsa, Finland We are looking for an experienced MIG/MAG Welder for a permanent position with our client company in Joutsa, Finland, to support their growing production. The work involves welding and assembling various steel structures and components in a machine shop environment. Production focuses particularly on different types of container structures. Both steel plates and pipes/tubes are welded. Job details: Welding methods: MIG/MAG Material thicknesses: mainly 2–6 mm, occasionally up to 8 mm Fillet welds (FW) and butt welds (BW) in various welding positions Mainly single-pass and two-pass welds Working according to Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS) and technical drawings Considered an advantage, but not required: Experience in TIG welding, knowledge of the Pressure Equipment Directive (PED), and experience working with different materials such as aluminium, stainless steel (SS) and acid-resistant stainless steel. Requirements: We expect previous experience in MIG/MAG welding, the ability to read technical drawings, and the ability to work independently, accurately and responsibly. Relevant vocational training in the metal industry is considered an advantage. Good communication skills in either English or Finnish are required.
