The role is to work as a multidisciplinary member of the early childhood education team, planning, implementing, and evaluating pedagogical activities together with other professionals. You will be responsible for contributing to family cooperation, promoting belonging and inclusion, and developing services and new practices to support child and family well-being. The position is based at YES Daycare, a bilingual (English and Finnish) daycare located on Hagelstamintie in Vantaa. The team consists of 8 groups, with 2 preschool groups; the social worker responsibilities cover the 3–5 year age group this season. We are looking for social workers who are positive, professional, and child-centered, with a collaborative mindset. We value listening to each child with a sensitive ear and being genuinely present in daily life. The work culture is built on impactful practice, ProVaka approach to promoting social skills, and collaboration with the entire unit. Employment terms follow the Municipal general collective agreement (KVTES). Salary: 3113-3218 EUR/month, with experience-based allowances of 3–8%. A criminal background check is required.
