About the role

The role is part of the Varha project funded by the Ministry of Justice, aimed at creating and embedding a comprehensive support and guidance model for youth involved with crime across the whole welfare region. The project seeks to reduce youth crime and reoffending, prevent gang formation and strengthen multiprofessional cooperation and crime-specific expertise in Varsinais-Suomi. The job is a fixed-term position for the period 1 Oct 2026 to 30 Jun 2028, mainly on-site with occasional remote work. You will work with under-25s and young adults with recurring or serious crime histories and high risk of reoffending. You will be responsible for project reporting and ensuring objectives progress on schedule. You will play a central role in developing, implementing and embedding the new operating model. You will collaborate closely with police, health services and youth services; the work location is Turku Central Police Station premises with the Ankkuri team. Strong field presence and intensive engagement with youths and their networks are emphasized.
