Rouhe Restaurant Rouhe Restaurant was founded in November 2013 in the village of Äkäslompolo, Ylläs. The menu features mainly domestic ingredients and modern foreign delicacies. It is a high-quality family-friendly restaurant offering a la carte dishes and pizzas, with Lapland’s pristine ingredients meeting other countries’ flavours and styles. Almost everything is made from scratch in the restaurant, and you can taste it. We are now seeking a cook for Ylläs to join a top team! Your duties include preparing à la carte dishes and a variety of kitchen tasks. The requirement is training in the field and several years of experience in à la carte cooking. A genuine desire to create wonderful tastes for Finnish and international travelers. But as we know, the right attitude is what matters. We offer the chance to work in a top team where you get to craft dishes with authentic flavours. In a privately owned restaurant where the owners themselves are part of the great team and are professionals in their field. Therefore learning new things is guaranteed for everyone. Start around late November and duration until April 2027. Salary according to your skills, approximately 15–17 €/hour. If needed, accommodation in a nearby room at a affordable price can be arranged. The chosen person will be employed through Lisäpalvelu Pohjois-Suomi Oy and we also provide Lisäpalvelun support and security throughout the journey. What we expect from you: a few years of experience in à la carte cooking; you are a great team player; you have a good attitude to work and a willingness to learn; ability to adapt to changing situations and consider others; good situational awareness in a seasonal environment; Finnish language proficiency is mandatory; Hygieniapassi.
