We are hiring an Early Childhood Education Teacher for the 3–5 year old group at Aurinkokiven Daycare, in Vantaa. The position is temporary until 31 August 2026 or as agreed, with possible extension to 13 January 2027. The successful candidate will create and develop the learning environment and daily routines for the children, plan pedagogical activities, implement, develop and evaluate them in collaboration with other staff according to the Vantaa early childhood education and pre-school plan and the unit’s action plan. We value good teamwork and interpersonal skills, ability to recognise each child’s individual needs, and multi-disciplinary collaboration. The role involves partnership with families, strong emphasis on social skills and participation. The unit has support from a multidisciplinary team and a special education teacher to assist with child support matters. We aim to foster a collaborative, welcoming atmosphere. Interested? Requirements include strong Finnish language skills in writing and speaking. Salary is 3129.46–3234.53 EUR per month, with monthly supplements of 15 EUR for a qualified education degree and 37.88 EUR for a master’s degree; experience-related increments of 3–8%. The term is fixed-term, full-time, with work time of 38 h 15 min per week.
