About the role

We are seeking a childcare worker for the Swedish-speaking day care Håkansböle in Vanda. The unit works within the City of Vanda’s Swedish-speaking service area with a vision of growing, playing and learning together for a sustainable future. We participate in the ProSmå project to strengthen children’s socio-emotional skills and promote positive interactions across the day care. A new day care, Silva, is planned to open in autumn 2027 to replace Håkansböle and offers modern facilities that support pedagogical work, collaboration and a sustainable everyday life for children and staff. As a staff member you will contribute to a welcoming, supportive work community and help develop an inclusive culture across the unit. You should be able to collaborate well in a team, communicate confidently and respectfully with children, colleagues and guardians, and respond to each child’s individual needs. We offer a warm and supportive workplace, a setting that bravely tests new working methods, and a focus on wellbeing and participation of both children and adults. If you’d like to join, please contact us to learn more about your strengths. The city of Vanda offers good training opportunities, a safe and equal working environment, and diverse benefits including fitness and cultural benefits, lunch benefits and public transport benefits.
