The Role We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Finance Operations Specialist to join our finance team in Helsinki. In this role, you'll own a broad range of finance operations — from accounts payable, invoicing and collections to month-end close, reporting, implementing new tools and process development — helping make sure our numbers are accurate, our cash flow is healthy, and our customers and stakeholders stay happy. In short: you'll help keep the financial engine of CurifyLabs running smoothly. (Underrated superpower.) NetSuite experience is a strong plus, and you'll work closely with colleagues across Sales, Customer Support, Operations, and external partners globally. What You'll Be Doing (aka your superpowers) Own the accounts payable process end to end and lead bringing it in-house, from invoice receipt and approvals to payments and vendor management Take ownership of day-to-day finance operations, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, and other accounting activities Create, process, and post customer invoices and credit memos in NetSuite Monitor aging reports, follow up with customers, and drive collections to keep DSO healthy Drive continuous improvement of finance processes, controls, documentation and NetSuite functionality Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes Assist with financial reporting and analysis. Support audits, tax filings, and compliance by providing documentation and explanations when needed What We're Looking For Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business Administration (BBA), Finance, Accounting, or similar Experience Previous experience in a finance, accounting, or controlling role Exposure to several finance areas (AR, AP, reporting, close, reconciliations) is an advantage Strong understanding of financial processes and controls Experience with NetSuite is a plus Experience in a startup or fast-growing company is a plus Skills & Competencies Strong analytical mindset and problem-solving ability High attention to detail (you spot missing decimals before they cause chaos) A team player who enjoys working cross-functionally Initiative and a continuous improvement mindset Adaptive to fast paced changes and enthusiasm to learn Active AI user, curious about new ways to improve finance processes Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Fluency in English and Finnish Why CurifyLabs?
