Kukkiakoto is a compact 29-bed enhanced care housing unit for the elderly located in the beautiful Luopioinen area of Pälkäne. Our operation emphasizes client‑centredness, community living and active daily life. We provide free parking with cars as Kukkiakoto is not accessible by public transport. As a Lähihoitaja you work as a nursing care expert and ensure individualized, safe around‑the‑clock care and rehabilitation for residents. We aim to maintain the resident’s own functional capacity from a strengths‑based perspective, and we care for it with joy and professional skill. You will receive thorough onboarding and support from the work community. What we expect from you? You are a licensed Lähihoitaja (social welfare) or a perushoitaja. You speak and write Finnish fluently. You have completed the hygieniapassi and LOVe‑drug administration online tests with a passing result. If needed you can complete the LOVe online test at the start of your employment. Prior experience in elderly care is an advantage. We value a client‑centred, flexible and self‑directed work attitude and good interpersonal skills. The employment start date is as agreed, but we hope you can start quickly. The working time is full‑time, on average 38 hours 15 minutes per week. Shifts include morning, evening and night duties. A six‑month probationary period applies to permanent employment. Before starting, the selected candidate must present a criminal record extract as required by the Criminal Records Act, and provide the health certificates required within one month of starting.
