Särmääjä, the metal industry professional – this position is for you! We are seeking a puncher for our client in Vaasa for a long-term employment. In this role you will participate in small-batch production, where accuracy, expertise and initiative are emphasized. Whether you are at the start of your career or already an experienced metalworker, the most important thing is the desire to learn and develop in your job. As a puncher you will play a key role in production and be responsible for shearing metal sheets according to drawings and for the manufacture of small batches. Your duties also include operating machines, programming when needed and ensuring quality as part of the production process. Success in the role requires meticulousness, precision and the ability to manage tasks. The job includes shift work. For a good start you should have: metal industry education or previous experience in similar tasks, ability to read drawings, ability to work both independently and as part of a team, willingness to work in shifts, desire to learn machine programming, fluent Finnish.
