Sheet metal worker

Kaiku HR is seeking to place several workers for Rauma Marine Constructions (RMC) at the Rauma shipyard. The positions are part of the shipbuilding industry’s significant projects, including modern icebreakers, defense vessels, and world‑class special ships. Open positions include sheet metal workers (levyseppä) with tasks such as assembling profiles and manual welding of reinforcing profiles onto plates. Responsibilities include interpreting job descriptions from images, manually welding reinforcing profiles to plates, and task verification. We require: interest in shipyard and machine shop work; prior experience and/or education in sheet metal worker/welder tasks; ability to read drawings; ability to operate in heavy working postures; careful, proactive work attitude; teamwork; valid occupational safety and fire safety cards; readiness for shift work.
