Every great credit decision starts with a question: can we trust this number? Our Credit Analytics team spends its days answering it, and we're looking for a Credit Risk Analyst to help us do it even better. Get an idea of the role Picture your first few weeks. You sit down with a scorecard that's been running in production for a while, and together with a colleague you start asking how it's really performing. Is it still ranking customers well? Has the portfolio shifted underneath it? You dig in, find the answer, and then comes the part we care about most: turning that analysis into something a colleague or stakeholder can read, understand, and act on. That's the rhythm of the work. You'll develop, validate, and monitor credit scorecards, and you'll explain what they tell us in plain, clear language. Along the way, you'll help us improve how we work: documenting and structuring our code, sharing analyses properly, and using version control and reproducible workflows so that nothing lives only on one person's laptop. Because good teams never stand still, you'll also get to explore new methods and tools and test them honestly against the approach we use today. Requirements for the role You've spent a few years in credit risk, analytics, or a similar quantitative role, and you're comfortable in Python and SQL. If you also know SAS, that's a welcome bonus. Your background might be a degree in statistics, mathematics, economics, data science, or a related field, or it might be an experience that taught you the same things. More than any single skill, we're looking for curiosity, and a habit of explaining your work so that others can follow it. If you've used Git and code review, or you know your way around model validation and documentation requirements, you'll feel at home quickly. If not, you'll learn. What it's like to work here You'll be joining a team of four senior analysts, led by Dácil Hernández, who genuinely enjoy sharing what they know. Mentoring isn't an afterthought here; colleagues invest real time in it. You won't be expected to know everything on day one. Questions are welcome, and from early on you'll have real ownership of your work. The challenges are varied too, with credit risk questions spanning multiple Nordic markets. Resurs in brief At Resurs, we make everyday finances easier through innovative and customer-focused solutions. With customers across the Nordics and more than 800 colleagues, we are committed to creating long-term value for individuals, businesses, and society. Recognized as a career company for the past six years, we put strong emphasis on both personal and professional growth. Although we are based in the Nordics, our team is enriched by the breadth of perspectives brought by colleagues from different countries. We foster a welcoming and supportive culture, where collaboration drives us to achieve the best outcomes for our users. Apply today! Don’t wait to send in your application. Selection and interviews take place on an ongoing basis, and the position may be filled before the last application date. We look forward to hearing from you!
