Are you more comfortable in the tranquility of nature than under fluorescent lights? In this job, evenings are not spent waiting in the reception. You can spend time at home, cottage, walking, or on the dock – and leave when help is truly needed. We are looking for dentists for Lappeenranta emergency service standby starting from July 1, 2026. The work involves urgent care for pain and injury patients. When a call comes, you go on duty with a partner to handle situations where quick treatment is crucial. Patients are directed to the reception based on initial assessment over the phone. Tasks include urgent care for pain and injury patients, independent on-call work with a partner, and reception work based on need assessment. We expect you to have a licensed dental degree, at least one year of clinical experience in Finland, readiness for independent on-call work, valid radiation protection training, and good Finnish language skills. The work is in Lappeenranta, starting July 1, 2026. Working hours: weekdays 4 pm–9 pm on standby, weekends and holidays 9:30 am–5 pm active work, 5 pm–9 pm standby. The on-call team operates with a 1.5-hour response time and can be on standby at home. You can choose shifts flexibly, either single or longer periods. Patient record system: LifeCare.
