Beyond Arctic is a leading photography-oriented tour operator based in Rovaniemi and Levi, Finland, specializing in outdoor and adventure travel. We offer unique and authentic experiences to guests seeking exclusivity and memorable adventures. With an emphasis on small groups, flexibility, and exceptional service, we focus on delivering the highest standard of Arctic experiences in the heart of Lapland. We are currently seeking passionate and experienced adventure guides to join our team for the 2026-2027 winter season. Both full-time and part-time positions are available. As a Beyond Arctic Adventure Guide, you will lead small groups up to 8 people through the stunning landscapes of Lapland. Your primary role will be to provide exceptional Arctic experiences, help guests capture the beauty of the Arctic, and share the wonders of Finnish culture and nature. Tours include Northern Lights photography, Arctic Animals and winter activities like snowshoeing, back-country skiing, ice fishing, and nature hikes. Beyond Arctic is dedicated to sustainable travel, and we are a Green Activities certified service provider, involved in the Sustainable Travel Finland program to help preserve the Arctics natural beauty. Key Responsibilities: Lead small groups of guests on nature-based Arctic adventures in Lapland and taking photos during the activity. Give assistance and guidance in photography techniques and the use of cameras and equipment for our guests with their own photography gear. Share stories and insights about the local culture, wildlife, and natural wonders of the Arctic region. Offer exceptional customer service, ensuring a memorable and authentic experience for each guest. Ensure the safety and well-being of guests during all activities. Foster a warm and welcoming atmosphere, making guests feel valued and cared for. Qualifications and Skills: B-driving license (mandatory). Fluency in English (required). Additional language skills, especially in Spanish, French, Italian, German or Portuguese, are highly valued. Experience in outdoor guiding and leading groups. Customer service skills and a passion for sharing knowledge and telling stories. Photography experience is a plus, but we will provide photography training if needed. Interest and drive for self-development in night photography, portraiture and nature photography is preferred. Experience with photo editing software and DSLR-cameras or DSLM-cameras is a plus. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. First aid certification (Emergency First Response or similar) is preferred. A first aid course is provided before starting if needed.
