We are now looking for a competent and enthusiastic CHARGE NURSE for a permanent employment relationship starting August 15, 2026, or by agreement. At Hopeahovi, the work of a charge nurse is self-directed and independent. Generally, you plan the content of your workday yourself, taking into account the needs of our residents and the team. You act as an expert, ensuring high-quality and safe care together with the unit's other charge nurse. Together with our nurses and primary nurses, you plan, evaluate, and develop the care of our residents. In addition to resident work, your duties include ensuring staff competence, as well as developing operations and ensuring quality. You focus on guiding nursing work and nursing staff and participate in administrative tasks and also serve as a substitute for the supervisor. We expect from you an interest in the professional development of operations and your own work, as well as in supervisory work. In addition, we expect the ability to work independently and in a team, as well as good interaction and presentation skills. We expect fluent written and oral skills in Finnish. We value a flexible and resident-oriented way of working and the ability to act in challenging situations that require extensive assessment skills. RAI and Apotti skills are considered an advantage. Hopeahovi is a 48-place home-like unit in Kerava. Our residents live in seven small homes. We offer a home for the end of life for a total of 45 elderly people. In addition, we offer short-term care for elderly people over 65 who live in their own home with the help of a nearby caregiver, family caregiver, or home care. We are profiled in nursing homes for the memory-impaired. We want to be pioneers in elderly care and therefore boldly develop operating models and our services to meet today's needs. Our goal is to maintain an active daily life and preserve functional capacity for as long as possible. The elderly person can live a life of their own choosing in their own home with us.
