We are now looking for a Sustainability Manager for KATI to be responsible for the business's sustainability work and its continuous development. In this role, you will have a broad impact on the company's future. You will identify new opportunities, decisively push development projects forward, and act as a guide in the areas of quality, safety, environment, and sustainability. To succeed in the position, it is important to understand the requirements set by the operating environment and legislation, anticipate related changes, and implement them in ways that support the company's goals and continuous improvement of operations. As Sustainability Manager, you will lead KATI's sustainability work and specifically the development of HSEQ functions. You will serve as the supervisor for the HSEQ team, advance the sustainability strategy, and coordinate reporting, audits, and carbon footprint calculations. Additionally, you will develop management systems and metrics and promote the use of data, automation, and AI as part of the operations. The role can be partially tailored according to the selected person's capabilities and interests. We would love to hear where you excel most! What do we expect from you? We are looking for a person with experience in developing sustainability or HSEQ functions and the ability to implement changes at a practical level. You will succeed in the role if you can grasp broad entities, understand business needs, and enjoy active cooperation with various stakeholders. Our expectations for you: - Versatile experience in sustainability or HSEQ functions - Business understanding and the ability to manage broad entities - Experience in implementing development projects or change initiatives - Strong analysis, reporting, and collaboration skills - High-level IT skills (including AI and data expertise) - Fluent communication and presentation skills in both Finnish and English - A suitable university degree - A proactive, flexible, and hands-on approach to work. We value knowledge of CSRD/ESG as well as experience in sustainability reporting, emissions calculation, management systems, and information security and protection issues.
