Your role as a Legal Trainee is to join the Group Legal unit, which centrally supports all Mandatum Group businesses. Your duties include diverse finance-sector legal tasks, assisting Group Legal lawyers with various legal questions, contract management, corporate administration, development tasks and legal monitoring. Your work includes drafting contracts and internal guidelines, data gathering and various legal investigations. Group Legal employs a total of 15 people and you will have the support of more experienced lawyers. Key tasks include: diverse legal investigations; contract law and processes related to contract management; assisting in the administration of group companies. Requirements for success include that you are a final-year student in law who is interested in the work of lawyers in the financial sector; fluency in Finnish and English; a responsible, proactive and precise work style; strong interpersonal skills and a positive attitude; you are approachable and a collaborative team player. The company offers a flexible hybrid work model with modern offices on Helsinki’s Bulevardi. The trainee period starts February 2027 and lasts six months; full-time.
