The Role The Senior/Staff Application Security Engineer will ensure Nebius software security by identifying and mitigating vulnerabilities, implementing best security practices, and collaborating with development teams. Build and maintain Application Security Posture Management (ASPM) at scale. Automate SAST, SCA in CI/CD. Conduct threat modeling and risk assessments for new and existing apps. Provide tools for threat modeling and vulnerability detection. Stay updated on threats and mitigation. Serve as an application security SME to other teams. What we look for 6+ years in application security. Knowledge of OWASP Top 10 and mitigations. Proficiency with Python/Go/Java/JavaScript. Experience with Burp Suite, ZAP, Semgrep. Understanding of SAML/OIDC. Experience in threat-modeling. Bonus: security automation design, translating compliance to specs, OSCP/OSWE. We conduct coding interviews.

Responsibilities
- Build and maintain Application Security Posture Management at scale
- Automate SAST and SCA in CI/CD
- Improve SAST and secrets detection rules
- Identify, analyze, and remediate application security vulnerabilities
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate security into SDLC
- Develop and maintain secure coding guidelines
- Conduct threat modeling and risk assessments
- Provide development teams with security tools and guidance
- Stay updated on security threats and mitigations
- Serve as an application security SME
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in application security
- Strong knowledge of OWASP Top 10 and mitigations
- Experience with Python, Go, Java, or JavaScript
- Proficiency in Go or Python
- Hands-on security testing tools (Burp Suite, ZAP, Semgrep)
- Understanding of SAML or OIDC
- Threat-modeling experience
