Biomedical Scientist

This vacancy is for four (4) bioanalysts/laboratory nurses to support Resource Services at Seinäjoki Central Hospital, with placement starting in Resource Services and primarily serving Clinical Chemistry and Microbiology. The role may involve work in other units of the South Ostrobothnia welfare region. The job is a three-shift position in a 24/7 emergency-ready laboratory where a wide research portfolio and modern equipment are in use. The successful candidate will work as part of a multidisciplinary team, developing expertise in clinical chemistry, hematology, transfusion service operations, microbiology and sample collection. A comprehensive orientation and a diverse, responsible role are offered, with support from a broad network of colleagues and professionals. We value initiative, customer-oriented working methods and the ability to adapt to changing situations. A licensed laboratory nurse/bioanalyst qualification is required. Terms and salary are governed by the applicable SOTE agreement, with a job-specific starting salary of €3,067.23 per month. A probationary period applies, and a health status certificate must be presented before starting. A drug test may be required, and vaccination protection and TB clearance per law are expected.
