Join Sastamala City! The city of Sastamalas early childhood education is currently recruiting for a social pedagogue to the position for 1 September 2026 to 28 May 2027. Koiramäen day care is located in the scenic Sastamala, in the Pappila district, with relatively convenient transport connections. The day care is mature yet youthful and eager to renew. In early childhood education as a social pedagogue you participate in planning, implementing, documenting, evaluating and developing the activities of the child group together with other professionals. You are supported by your own team, as well as other teams in the organization, the early childhood education special education teacher, the unit leader and the deputy leader. We collaborate across units, and support is available beyond unit borders. We value: experience in early childhood education, good interaction skills for team-based high-quality early childhood education, a constructive work attitude and desire to be a meaningful part of the early childhood education staff network. In addition, you must have good Finnish speaking and writing skills; eligibility must be fulfilled by 10.8.2026 according to the Early Childhood Education Act 540/2018.
