Passenger Service and Gate Agent

We are strengthening our passenger-service check-in and gate team with Passenger Service Agents and people for the Passenger Service Gate Agent Turnaround role. Passenger Service Agent duties include passenger check-in and assisting with gate operations according to airline procedures. Gate Agent Turnaround duties include passenger-service gate operations and responsibility for the aircraft turnaround in passenger services: activities before, during and after the operation, following airline procedures. The role and the emphasis placed on different duties can be adjusted according to the candidate’s skills and interests. Previous airport experience is not required for the Passenger Service Agent role. Previous experience working in airport passenger services is required for the Gate Agent Turnaround role. We require: You must be at least 18 years old. Excellent social skills, a positive attitude and motivation. A sales-oriented mindset. Initiative, independent decision-making and the ability to work autonomously. The ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing circumstances. Strong IT skills and the ability to learn new systems. Strong Finnish and English skills. We consider these an advantage: Experience in passenger-service duties. Experience with check-in DCS systems. Competitive pay under the collective agreement for air transport services (IAU TES). For Passenger Service Agent, the current salary is €2,320.87/month in IAU pay group 5. Shift supplements and a possible experience-based supplement are paid in addition. For Gate Agent Turnaround, the current salary is €2,585.88/month in IAU pay group 7. We are hiring fixed-term employees for Passenger Service Agent roles, and both fixed-term and permanent employees for Gate Agent roles. The work is irregular shift work, 112 hours per three weeks (IAU period-based work). At your request, a lower work commitment or regular working hours may also be possible, for example 88.5 hours per three weeks or less. Aviator is a substance-free organisation. If you do not already have experience in passenger-service duties, your employment begins with a two-week unpaid orientation course. For candidates with experience, we will assess individually whether the course is needed. The course takes place Monday to Friday between 8:00 and 16:00. Orientation course 1: Weeks 4–5; employment begins 8 February 2027. Orientation course 2: Weeks 7–8; employment begins 1 March 2027.
