We are seeking a bilingual daycare director for a permanent position in Vaasa for our client, Verkanappulat Oy. In this role, you will lead a small daycare center where high-quality early childhood education, staff well-being, and interacting with children are at the heart of operations. We are looking for a present and development-oriented leader who wants to holistically influence the unit's operations and build a safe, learning, and inspiring operational culture together with the staff. The employment is permanent, and the position starts by August 1, 2026, at the latest. An earlier start is possible by agreement. Your Tasks As the daycare director, you are responsible for the overall management of the unit. You will lead operations goal-orientedly, develop daily practices and pedagogy, and participate in group activities when necessary. You will be a visible part of the daycare's daily life, interacting with children, guardians, and staff. You will work as part of the regional daycare directors' team, receiving continuous support and sparring from colleagues and your supervisor.
