Facilities Technician

Ubicado en Avery Dennison Smartrac plant in Querétaro and reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor. The selected candidate will have professional development as part of a new team in a growing industry. The Facilities and Maintenance team aims to keep the plant operations running smoothly through modern maintenance systems and continuously improve equipment availability and reliability to produce quality and safe products at a cost. This team will also be responsible for CAPEX planning and execution, including an ambitious Master Plan to increase capacity. RESPONSIBILITIES: Maintain knowledge of facilities/equipment and their conditions; responsible for ongoing maintenance and issue resolution based on work orders; monitor facilities/equipment to ensure optimal configuration and environmental conditions; coordinate with Quality to maintain environmental conditions; coordinate with Production to schedule downtime; monitor for safe operations with EHS; monitor contractors; support safety and fire emergency response; support projects, installation and commissioning of equipment; follow company safety rules; comply with ethics and values; apply and promote 5S; participate in company brigades/committees as applicable; willingness to rotate shifts. REQUISITES: High school/TSU; at least 2 years experience in facilities maintenance or technical field; basic English; experience in electrical substations, compressors, HVAC, FPS; strong communication and analytical skills.
