That is why you will succeed with us too. What kinds of roles are available? Financial Specialist As our accountant, you will take responsibility for keeping our client companies’ bookkeeping up to date and accurate, as well as for financial statements and tax returns. Reporting to your designated clients is an important part of your work. Day to day, you will work closely with the other finance professionals serving the same client and with experts from our other services. Financial Controller In this role, you will support both Finnish and international real estate investors. Together, we will handle our clients’ statutory accounting and tax matters, and provide diverse reporting on business profitability and cash flow. You will also be responsible for group accounting for designated clients and advise and guide others in your team. You will take part in corporate transactions as well. As in the other role, you will work closely with finance professionals and experts from our other services who serve the same client. You will also act as a client consultant, answering questions about accounting and taxation and resolving challenges that arise along the way. Senior Financial Controller In this senior-level role, you will work with us to handle our clients’ statutory accounting and tax matters, as well as diverse reporting on business profitability and cash flow. In addition to basic reporting, your work will increasingly include broader reporting valued by our clients. You will be responsible for client reporting for your accounts and have a clear coordinating role across our finance service delivery. Corporate transactions involving your clients will also be an interesting part of your broad range of duties. You will also participate in client meetings to plan and discuss the range of services provided to each client, including all our services. The skills you need to succeed You will succeed in these roles if you already have experience and expertise in bookkeeping. For example, you have previously worked as an accountant or chief accountant and may also be proficient in financial statements and tax returns. Financial Controller and Senior Financial Controller roles also require command of group reporting and consolidated financial statements. Experience with corporate transactions is useful, as our client companies actively buy and sell properties and restructure their ownership. Our work can sometimes be hectic, as our dynamic clients often make rapid moves that affect our work. Resilience and a customer-service mindset are therefore valuable. You also need to be accurate while prioritising and identifying what matters. A willingness to help is highly valued. In addition, the Senior Financial Controller role calls for enthusiasm for coordination, as you will also bring together the work of other finance professionals as part of the client team. As we have colleagues abroad and many international real estate investors as clients, written and spoken English is needed in all roles.
