We are seeking a nurse for regional ward operations at Muurame Hospital for a fixed-term employment contract from August 17 to October 4, 2026. The patient profile at Muurame Hospital has been updated, and patients from other regional ward operation units will transfer to the ward for follow-up rehabilitation after an acute care period. The planning and implementation of care emphasize a rehabilitative approach and the promotion of the patient's self-care and functional capacity. The work is three-shift work, and we use activity-based shift planning (Titania electronic service), which allows you to influence your own shifts. Different life situations are also taken into account in shift planning as far as possible. The work is versatile, broad, and responsible. We value experience in ward work, good community skills, a development-oriented attitude, and the ability to act independently in various situations. To support your orientation, you will have your own mentor and the entire work community to ensure a smooth integration into our team. You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team following the primary nurse model. The position also includes the role of a nurse in charge. We collaborate with various services of the wellbeing services county, follow-up rehabilitation communities, the third sector, relatives, and other operators to ensure the patient receives timely and appropriate care. We require suitability according to Section 48 of the Communicable Diseases Act (chickenpox and measles). The employer determines the need for influenza and pertussis vaccinations. The position requires up-to-date medication administration skills according to the medication plan or completion of such at the start of employment. The terms of employment are determined in accordance with the social and health care labor and official agreement (SOTE agreement). A probationary period applies to the employment relationship.
