We are seeking a childcare worker for the Lekis day care in Kuusankoski, Kouvola. The position is a fixed-term part-time job at 50% through 22 December 2026 and continues as a full-time role from 2 January 2027 to 30 June 2027. The day care offers Swedish-language early childhood education and preschool activities in a safe and inspiring environment. The facility is small, homely and located in a historic building that fosters creativity. Nature-based activities are important, and we highlight Finland-Swedish culture and traditions as a natural part of our work. We aim for child-centered, individualized, and language-stimulating pedagogy, with respect, relationships, safety and participation always present. The role involves working in Swedish with the goal of positive language learning. Requirements include: childcare worker, child leader, nursing assistant, or another equivalent education; we welcome applicants even if you lack formal education but have field experience.
