Early Childhood Education Teacher

We are seeking an enthusiastic and capable Early Childhood Education Teacher to join our warm and professional team at Röykän Daycare, located in Nurmijärvi. The role focuses on individual child attention, the importance of play, and community, with high-quality early education and pre-primary education where child wellbeing and the joy of learning are central. The daycare has a newly renovated large yard offering versatile outdoor and year-round physical activity opportunities. We value collaboration with families to create a safe and encouraging environment for each child’s growth and development. The team is supported by comprehensive staffing resources, extensive support for child assistance, substitute arrangements, and dedicated facilities staff. Planned orientation and mentoring are provided, and employees have opportunities for training and professional development with employer support. The work atmosphere is positive and wellbeing-focused, with practices such as staff wellbeing funds and strong sense of community. Requirements include the Diploma in Early Childhood Education or equivalent qualifications as required by local law, with consideration for those graduating. The position is a permanent full-time contract starting 1 September 2026 or as agreed. The pay is determined under the municipal sector’s teaching personnel collective agreement (OVTES Section G). A starting salary of 3165.78–3273.00 EUR per month, with potential seniority allowances based on prior experience. A six-month probationary period applies, and a background check may be required.
