A position for cooks is advertised for the Lapland winter season at Kittilä Airport. The role involves preparing high-quality meals for private jet passengers and various Premium services. The job mainly takes place at Kittilä Airport, with requirements to participate in food production and client events at locations outside the airport such as private villas and cabins. The key attributes sought are passion for high-quality food and customer experience, flexibility to adapt to changing situations, teamwork, meticulousness, and readiness to work in different environments. Requirements include cook training and/or prior experience in the field, hygienic pass, health clearance, proficiency in Finnish and/or English, minimum age 18, a clean background, driving licence category B, initiative and good collaboration skills. Experience in catering/hospitality/premium service environments is advantageous. The position falls under privacy protection law at work; successful applicants will undergo drug testing as part of the onboarding process. Fixed-term contracts begin in Oct–Nov 2026 and continue to March–April 2027. It is shift-work with potential assignments across all days of the week. Housing assistance is provided, but housing costs are not covered. Salary is determined according to the Hospitality, Catering and Leisure industry collective agreement.
