We are seeking two data protection lawyers for permanent positions in Helsinki City’s Social, Health and Rescue Sector. The unit handles high-quality social, health and rescue services for residents. Data protection is essential as registers, information systems and operating procedures are continuously developed. The lawyer will advise staff, organize training on data protection legislation, participate in data protection impact assessments, handle data breach matters, and deal with juridical aspects of data requests. Desirable: experience in a similar challenging legal advisory role in public sector, municipal or welfare region’s legislation, and knowledge of health and social care data protection laws. Knowledge of social and health care sector and data governance is a plus. Recruitment focuses on suitability for the role and team.
