Data Development Manager

A-lehdet is seeking a permanent Data Development Manager to strengthen the core of data-driven leadership and data development. The role combines strategic and operational work: you own the organization’s data platform, ensure that data development supports planned business needs, and advance A-lehdet’s data and AI capabilities. You will work with both the Data-Driven Leadership team and the Application Solutions team, bridging business and data engineering. Your home base is the data leadership team, with data specialists as colleagues, but you will also spend about half of your time in the application solutions team, where developers and integration specialists work with you. We seek a technically capable person who is genuinely curious about business: you want to understand how A-lehdet’s businesses make money and what decisions are made in different units. On that basis, you identify how data can support success. You don’t wait for assignments, but propose and implement them. Success in this role is measured by how data advances A-lehdet’s strategy. The role is new and may be shaped by the chosen person.
