Electrical Design Engineer

As an Electrical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for design and commissioning tasks for substation projects and renewable energy (BESS) projects. The position is full-time and starts as soon as possible by agreement. You can work at NEPower’s office in Vaasa, Oulu or Seinäjoki, and the role also offers extensive remote-work opportunities. You will be supported by a skilled and efficient design team and receive high-level support on electrical engineering matters. As an Electrical Design Engineer, your responsibilities include: - Electrical design tasks for projects. - Project commissioning at worksites and in factory tests. - Close cooperation with lead designers, project personnel and production staff. We are looking for someone with: - At least three years of experience in substation or renewable-energy design. - Experience with Eplan or AutoCAD (considered an advantage). - Relevant education, for example an electrical engineering degree or a Master of Science in technology. - Finnish and English language skills. - A willingness to learn new things and develop your expertise.
