About the role

Job Description As a Site Manager, you will be responsible for the operational execution of electrical substation projects on site. The work is independent and responsible; you will guide and coordinate the daily activities of site personnel and subcontractors. You will play a key role in ensuring the smoothness and quality of the work and will work in close cooperation with the client's representatives. The position involves assignment work across Finland, so we hope for willingness to travel and the possibility of using your own car for travel. Responsibilities In this role, you will focus on the practical implementation of electrical substation projects, site management, and close cooperation with the client and project team at the sites. - Operational management of Fingrid electrical substation sites - Guidance and daily supervision of site personnel - Active communication between the client's representative and own personnel - Monitoring site safety, quality, and schedule - Reporting related to project progress - Stakeholder cooperation and responsibility for practical site arrangements - Active cooperation with the project team We are looking for - Strong experience with Fingrid electrical substation projects - Previous experience in site manager roles or as an experienced lead technician - Educational background in electrical, power, or electrical automation engineering - Fluent Finnish language skills (English is considered an advantage) - Class B driver's license and own car (broader license categories, e.g., BE/C, are considered an advantage) To succeed in the role, you have: - Strong interaction skills: You are approachable and present your points openly and constructively. You communicate fluently with different people in the daily site environment. - Proactivity and solution-orientation: You take initiative and push things forward boldly. You can keep the big picture and control in changing site situations. - Clear direction: You guide the site reliably and ensure that communication works seamlessly and understandably for both the client and your own installation team.
