Unit Manager

We offer you the opportunity to develop our unit in a supervisory role together with our multidisciplinary staff. Jyväskylä Validia-talo is a 24-hour assisted living unit housing 51 clients. Our clients are people with disabilities, and at Validia, we enable them to lead a quality life of their own design. Our unit also has facilities for day activities and rehabilitation. In your role as Unit Manager, you will be responsible for achieving the unit's financial and operational goals, personnel administration, and the high quality of services. You will play a significant role in developing and motivating our employees' expertise and promoting cooperation with stakeholders. Additionally, you will handle client matters in cooperation with other staff, participate in network meetings and client meetings, and maintain close cooperation with networks regarding client affairs. The unit's service manager will act as your partner. **What kind of leader are we looking for?** We require a university of applied sciences (AMK) degree in the social and healthcare field. A nursing background is considered an advantage. We hope for at least two years of work experience in both supervisory work and disability services. Experience in residential services is an advantage.
