On-call Supervisor

We are inviting sote professionals and final-year students to join us for on-call supervision work in our last protection units Pitkäjärvi and Rauhaniemi Validia homes. We seek on‑call workers who want to do their job well and develop their own skills while staying committed for longer. We offer a planned orientation, supportive work community, and the opportunity to perform work where every interaction matters. You will not be alone; you’ll have kind and capable colleagues to help you succeed. The Pitkäjärven Validia home is a 6‑place unit for 12–17 year olds who have received a decision for special care; Rauhaniemen Validia home is a 7‑place modern home for 12–17 year olds requiring broad support and multi-professional resources. Your duties include day-to-day guidance, upbringing and care, being present in daily life and walking alongside the children. The home’s daily life is structured and presupposes adult leadership, with activities ranging from everyday tasks to hobbies and outings; together with addressing difficult matters and learning to handle them. We value neurodiversity, attachment, and trauma-informed understanding and encourage professional development as part of the team.
