We are looking for a bilingual (Finnish and English) special education teacher in early childhood education who is an enthusiastic and skilled professional. Our day care is a unit with 8 groups, two of which are pre-primary education groups. We operate in connection with Vantaa International School and have a maximum of 154 children this year. As a special education teacher in early childhood education, you are responsible for assessing children's support needs, planning and implementing support, and evaluating the implementation of support in cooperation with other early childhood education staff. In this role, you support and guide the development of an inclusive operational culture in the unit together with the day care director. You participate in guiding the processes of support planning and evaluation, as well as assessing the allocation of support. Pedagogical expertise and close cooperation with various stakeholders are emphasized. The terms of employment are determined in accordance with the Municipal Education Personnel Collective Agreement (OVTES). Salary: 3593.77-3751.06 eur/month. An additional 15 eur/month is paid for a degree meeting the eligibility requirements for an early childhood education teacher, and 37.88 eur/month for a Master of Educational Sciences. A work experience supplement based on previous work experience is 3-8%.
