Assistant/Associate Professor

The Faculty of Information Technology is seeking to recruit an Assistant/Associate Professor (Tenure Track) in information system science starting January 1, 2027, or as soon as possible after that. The tenure track model at the University of Jyväskylä includes fixed-term appointments for three to five years at the Assistant Professor level and five years at the Associate Professor level. The duties include research and teaching activities and the training of doctoral students. The successful candidate will supervise undergraduate and graduate students, doctoral candidates, and postdoctoral researchers. The position emphasizes research leadership and external funding, and the applicant should have an excellent record of international research and publication, strong networks, and teaching experience.
