Assistant Restaurant Manager

We are seeking an Assistant Restaurant Manager for our lunch restaurant in Espoo’s Säteri. As an assistant restaurant manager you will be a key player on the team. Your duties include leading the team and actively participating in customer service. You will work closely with the head chef and the regional organization. One of your most important tasks is to develop the restaurant’s operations and ensure an excellent customer experience remains at the achieved level. You will also plan future events and occasions for the restaurant. The site includes other services such as cleaning and reception services, and you may participate in these services and their development when needed. All your actions are guided by an excellent customer experience, and you play a significant role in delivering our customer promise. Working hours are mainly on weekdays 6:00–16:00, but we expect flexibility as you may occasionally be needed for evening and weekend shifts with prior agreement. This is a full-time, permanent position, averaging 112.5 hours per 3 weeks. Start date as agreed. The salary follows the collective agreement for managers in tourism, restaurant and leisure services, group 5, depending on experience, 2624–2855 €/month plus possible overtime allowances. We expect strong restaurant industry expertise, at least five years of experience in similar roles, and relevant education (e.g., Restonomi). Supervisory experience of at least two years is required. Hygienic and serving passes and first aid certification are needed. Understanding of business metrics and up-to-date IT skills. Excellent service attitude and ability to ensure high-quality service with your team. Strong interpersonal skills to handle customer meetings professionally and motivate your team.
